Founded in 2011 by lab director, Avniel Ghuman, PhD, the LCND is located in the Department of Neurological Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh. Our laboratory uses cutting-edge computational neuroscience to study brain network dynamics, particularly the neural information processing underlying visual recognition and social and affective perception using intracranial electrophysiology (iEEG) in human participants.
